The Day Everything Changed
It was the 16th of November 2022 — the day my life completely changed.
The day I became a mother. To the most beautiful baby girl.
Fast forward three years, and my baby girl is now a toddler. We’ve also welcomed our precious baby boy. Just like that, I am now a mother of two.
A Dream Come True
Becoming a mother was always something I knew would be part of my journey. It’s something I dreamed of and prayed for — and today, it brings me so much joy to be living the life I always hoped for.
Yes, it’s a dream to be a stay-at-home mom and take care of my kids.
But does that mean it’s easy? Not at all.
Every mom faces challenges — whether you’re staying at home or working full-time. Our children go through so many stages, and the change is constant.
The First-Time Mom Struggle
As a first-time mom, I had no idea what I was doing.
Times have changed so much. What worked for our parents doesn’t always work for us or our children today. It felt like a constant battle trying to figure out how to raise my baby without messing it all up.
Mother of Two: A New Chapter
Now, as a mom of two, I’m definitely more experienced — but I still question myself.
I may have a better handle on the baby stage, but the “toddlersaurus” phase is a whole new ball game.
Why I’m Sharing This
If you’re a mom like me, then this space is for you.
Even though I started social media when Grace was just a baby, I don’t feel like I’ve shared enough of myself or my experiences here. That’s something I want to change.
I hope to use this platform to share real motherhood experiences — the highs, the struggles, and everything in between. My goal is to create a space where moms can turn when they feel:
• Alone
• Confused
• Unsure
Because the truth is: you are not alone. We all go through these mixed emotions, and sometimes just knowing another mom has been through the same thing makes all the difference.
What You Can Expect Here
Along with sharing experiences, I’ll also be posting the little things that help me stay grounded during the chaos:
• Routines that keep us on track
• Activities that keep my kids busy and support their development
• Recipes for toddlers, family meals, and BLW (baby-led weaning)
Motherhood isn’t easy, but together we can make it feel a little lighter. 💛
